I'm around too, sorry I didn't have more time for a greeting on either of my last two posts about newspapers, but my computer in both cases was dying and I am forever leaving the charging cable in my office at work.

I've toyed with the idea of restarting my blog, now that have decided to pay for the internet (which I frankly think is a huge waste of money for the amount of time we use it at home), but I'm not sure how much time I would have to blog if I did it.

Anyway, I lurk around the disgruntled sons still blogging and am still working at a newspaper in Easton Maryland (near DC) with Joy.

I was thinking to myself as well the other day that I miss all of the conversations we used to have. I haven't had a good sparing match using words in quite a while as it is hard to argue a point with one of my employees and that seems to be where the majority of my time is spent.

I will try to be better at participating though.

I'm still alive and kicking, though...I have a bad taste in my mouth about blogger, and don't really want to get active there again. It did more or less kill off a career path for me once, if you recall.

I have had a facebook account for years, but am just, in the last week starting to use it.

I promise to be better and contribute more.

Interesting. I've signed up for Twitter for a project I'm working on, we'll see how it goes. I might break down and do facebook anyway... despite the creepiness factor... it's getting to the point that I can hardly avoid it, but we'll see.

Addendum:
I also posted a nostalgia link to Gugg's post back last July on Facebook. Prizio and Metzger both responded.

I've relocated mostly to Facebook and Twitter (yes, I know your thoughts on both) as far as my blogging habits go. While it was a change I was slowly making, it was sped along by my site administrator switching over to WordPress from Movable Type and me being thus far too lazy to actually get around to adjusting my templates/archives/etc. accordingly. Been recently considering just up and moving to Tumblr, but we'll see.
